The Vine, Clive
Coates, juin 1998
Château Citran
1997
Very good colour. Rich nose. Quite oaky. Good style. On the
palate a wine of medium weight. Elegant fruit. It lacks a
bit of depth and succullence. Quite long though. Quite good.
From 2003.
Château Citran
1996
Fine colour. Very toasted nose. Ripe, quite oaky palate. A
little on the extreme side for me. The palate is juicy and
long and attractive. Very good but not great. From
2002

Château Citran
1995, note : 87/100
Not a big 1995, but
very pretty. Enticing cedar, tobacco and cherry aromas.
Medium- to full- bodied, with fine tannins and a subtle
aftertaste of tobacco and fruit. Best after 2001.
